My focus was to help research teams translate complex data and computational questions into usable tools, reproducible workflows, and reliable analyses.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;li&gt;Developed data and machine-learning workflows for applied research projects.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Supported researchers in framing ML problems, choosing suitable methods, and evaluating results.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Helped build and operate infrastructure for computationally demanding workloads, including Slurm-based HPC environments, container stacks, and GitLab/GitHub automation.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Contributed to the planning and practical setup of shared AI/HPC infrastructure in the KIDA context.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Worked on reproducibility, deployment, dependency management, and CVE-driven updates for research software environments.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Developed open-source tools such as ScrAIbe and ScrAIbe-WebUI to make transcription and diarisation pipelines usable beyond purely technical users.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Advised IT and research teams on translating prototypes and infrastructure ideas into more stable services.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Supervised and supported student projects, theses, and internal knowledge transfer around programming, data science, and machine learning.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;

&lt;li&gt;Helped organise events that connected students with each other and with research groups at the institute.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Improved communication between cohorts through shared documentation and better transfer of information.&lt;/li&gt;

&lt;p&gt;From 2016 to 2022, I supported the HASP student laboratory at Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg. The laboratory gives school students a practical introduction to experimental physics — not only through demonstrations, but through hands-on experimentation, observation, and discussion.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Key responsibilities&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Guided student groups through physics experiments in the laboratory.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Explained complex physical phenomena in a way that matched different age groups and levels of prior knowledge.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Built, tested, and improved experimental setups and demonstrations.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Balanced safety, robustness, and scientific accuracy when working with laboratory experiments.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Supported the maintenance and development of the laboratory’s catalogue of experiments.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;
&lt;p&gt;This work strongly shaped my interest in teaching and science communication. It taught me how important it is to explain advanced concepts in a way that invites curiosity and allows students to make their own observations.&lt;/p&gt;</description></item></channel></rss>
